👋Welcome to r/RoyaltyFreeVideo - Introduce Yourself and Read First!

Hey everyone! I'm u/ScrollLoops, a founding moderator of r/RoyaltyFreeVideo.

This is our new home for all things related to discovering, sharing, and requesting 100% free, license-free stock footage, vertical B-roll, and high-quality video assets. We're excited to have you join us!

To jumpstart your editing workflow right away, check out ScrollLoops.com, it’s a completely free search engine I built that lets you search across multiple massive stock libraries (like Pexels, Pixabay, and Mixkit) simultaneously, complete with vertical safe-zone overlays for TikTok, Shorts, and Reels.

What to Post

Post anything that you think the community would find interesting, helpful, or inspiring. Feel free to share your thoughts, links, or questions about:

Hidden Gems: Links to excellent, lesser-known royalty-free video clips or creators.

Footage Requests: Looking for a specific background clip (e.g., "dark academia bedroom" or "cyberpunk street loop")? Ask the community to help you hunt it down.

Editing Tips: Discussions on vertical safe zones, pacing, or color-grading free stock assets.

Your Work: Showcase how you used free stock footage or B-roll to level up your latest edit.

Community Vibe

We're all about being friendly, constructive, and inclusive. Let's build a space where editors, filmmakers, and content creators can support one another and collaborate without gatekeeping.

How to Get Started

Introduce yourself in the comments below—let us know what software you edit in and what kind of content you make!

Post something today! Even a simple question about where to find a specific type of video asset can spark a great conversation.

Spread the word! If you know an editor, designer, or creator who would love this community, invite them to join.

Interested in helping out? We're always looking for new moderators to help keep the spam out, so feel free to reach out to me to apply.

Thanks for being part of the very first wave. Together, let's make r/RoyaltyFreeVideo amazing.
