How many people actually inventory their home contents? (Home & Renters Insurance)

As an insurance agent, I often suggest that customers create some type of home inventory before a possible claim happens. IRL, I doubt many people actually have any form of a contents inventory.

Anything is better than nothing - a simple list of items (even grouped together), photos, or even a video walking through each room in your home. Of course, the more detail the better.

Who here actually has an inventory, and how did you do it? Was it as cumbersome as you expected?
