Hey everyone,

I’m u/raannakasturi, founding moderator of r/Scientry.

This community is built for people who actually care about understanding research — not just reading headlines.

What is r/Scientry about? We break down new scientific papers across AI, bioinformatics, computational biology, medicine, and emerging research fields. The goal isn’t hype. It’s clarity, critical thinking, and real discussion.

If you read beyond the abstract… you’re in the right place.

**🔬 What to Post**

We welcome:

* Breakdowns of new research papers
* Methodology discussions
* Reproducibility critiques
* Questions about datasets or tools
* AI + science intersections
* Journal club–style analysis
* Thoughtful debates about impact and limitations

Please link original papers when possible and add your own context. No link dumps.

**🧠 Community Culture**

This is a signal-over-noise space.

We value:
• Evidence over opinion
• Civil disagreement
• Method-focused discussion
• Intellectual honesty

Attack ideas, not people.

**🌐 About Scientry**

Scientry is an AI-powered platform that collects and summarizes new research daily to help you stay current efficiently.

Website: [scientry.pandrillalabs.com](http://scientry.pandrillalabs.com)

The subreddit is not just for links to the site, it’s for real discussion around the research itself.

🚀 How to Get Started

1. Introduce yourself below, what field are you in?
2. Share a recent paper that caught your attention.
3. Start a discussion thread, even a sharp question is valuable.

Early members shape culture. You are the first wave.

Let’s build a place where research is actually understood. And, not just consumed.
