# Welcome to r/SerialWatcher

This is the official home of **SerialWatcher**, and I'm thrilled to have you here!

I built SerialWatcher from the heart to solve a problem many of us share: how to truly track our passion for TV shows and movies—**episode by episode**—without sacrificing our privacy. It was born out of a genuine love for storytelling and nostalgia for good old TV time.

This isn't just another tool; it's a passion project. That's why **SerialWatcher is 100% free forever—no subscriptions, no paywalls, and no ads.**

### 🌟 Core Philosophy
* **Private by Design:** Your data stays yours. Everything syncs seamlessly directly to your personal iCloud—no accounts, no passwords, and no forced sign-ups.
* **Episode-by-Episode Tracking:** Every chapter matters, not just the season finale. Log and rate your progress every step of the way.

### 💬 Why This Community Exists
Apps are great for tracking, but the real magic happens when we share what we feel after a great episode or movie.

This subreddit was created to build a community around that shared passion. Here, you can:
* **Discuss & React:** Share your raw thoughts on recent episodes, plot twists, and movie endings.
* **Discover & Recommend:** Find hidden gems or share recommendations with fellow watchers.
* **Shape the App:** Suggest new features, report bugs, and give feedback directly to help improve SerialWatcher for everyone.

Grab your popcorn, dive into the discussions, and please remember to use **Spoiler Tags** when talking about major plot points!

Welcome aboard! What are you watching today? 🍿
