Skill bridge acceptance timeline

Hello all. For those who has done a skill bridge, how long before you EAOS / EAS did you get accepted for the internship? My end of active service is September of next year, so would be eligible to start a skillbridge in April of 23, but one response I got from a company was to really get the ball rolling in February. That seems so close.
Any advice / insight / experience would be greatly appreciated
