Slow Power Principle #1: Clarity Before Action
When faced with uncertainty, many leaders respond with more activity.
More meetings.
More initiatives.
More communication.
More urgency.
But activity is not the same as progress.
Slow Power Leadership begins with Clarity.
Before asking:
"What should we do?"
Ask:
"What is actually happening?"
Before acting consider:
- What assumptions are we making?
- What problem are we solving?
- What outcome are we seeking?
Clarity often saves far more time than reacting immediately from urgency.
Have you ever solved the wrong problem because you moved too quickly?
