I need all the advice I can get!!!

To start off I’m a 21F, started Solar 3 days ago doing D2D. I’ve never done this but I have years in customer service and retail.

And boy was I wrong when I thought this would be easy money. I think my biggest problem is I just don’t know where to start. I’ve called my manager many times during my shift for help and what not. I try to follow the script but it feels stupid because I can tell they’re gonna say no before they even open the door. Plus the script they gave us is just so… scripty.

I know I have potential and I’m really willing to do what I can to improve but it’s soooo upsetting working 8-10 hours a day on my own time, knowing the reason I’m not having any success is completely my fault.

I’m a nice girl, I’m good with people. But I freeze up and stutter my words. My lack of confidence is probably my biggest issue. My end goal is to just learn as much as I can from this job and be able to dip my toes in sales, because I’m not only selling an appointment but I’m selling myself.

If anyone has any advice, podcasts, websites etc. I’ll take it all!!
