Mumbai To Delhi

“We planned a road trip from Mumbai to Delhi as we rarely ever went on a road trip. As we had just finished our 12th examination we planned a road trip on 22nd August 2013 after such a long time we would be able to go on a trip.”

“Let me introduce myself

My name is ROHIT

My Friend’s name is SAUMIL

My other Friend’s name is SAURABH.”

“So we decided to leave by 4:30 pm. Because we knew that it is going to be a 24 hours drive so I picked up my friends Saumil and Saurabh from their homes. And we left off for our first road trip we were so excited as we rarely get opportunity to go outstation. We were thrilled.”

“So as we were joking around with each other and while having fun time flew by and it was almost 10:00 pm. We were looking for a restaurant on the highway as we were very hungry so finally after 30 minutes I found a restaurant it was not a very trendy restaurant but it was an okay one.”

“So we had our dinner and now we were looking a place to stay nearby we turned on our Google maps and we found a nearby hotel which was 22 km away from our location so we drove to that location and as we were passing by suddenly my friend SAUMIL noticed that there were not that many vehicles around us and he thought maybe it was nighttime so traffic must have dipped down and now we were in area which was pretty creepy there were only trees it looked like a jungle area.”

“So now there was no vehicle around suddenly the Google maps stopped working we were like have we lost our path.”

“As I was talking to my friend in the passenger seat regarding GPS and for a quick seconds I looked at hum and suddenly he screamed “WATCH OUT!!!”. I saw a DEER right in front of me and it got run over by me and it was killed on the spot as I failed to apply brakes on time and for a few minutes me and my friends were freaking out one of my friend SAURABH got out of the car to see what has happened to that DEER but to his shock he didn’t find anything out there.”

“He screamed my name and asked to me check that there was no one out there but there was nothing out there and than I quickly looked at the front of the car and there was no sign of damage. I was even more shocked.”

“We sat in the car all stunned we discussed amongst each other that what just happened because clearly all three of us saw something run over by us and there was sound of something banging against our car.”

“We were all shaken in our boots but we still drove ahead and after passing the jungle area we found the reception again and our Google Maps were working back on and now we were only 10 km away from the hotel.”

“As we reached the hotel we unloaded the car with our bags and entered the hotel premises and asked the receptionist which rooms are available she said that the top rooms are available as hotel is completely full. So we said we are okay and she handed us keys to Room no.52 and so we headed to Room no.52 which was obviously on the 5th floor.”

“So we entered the room and the room looked all tidy we had to bring our luggage with ourselves to the room as there was no bell boy available for it was too late at night and there were only two who were working on different help carrying the bags of other customers as we were we carried the bag to our floors.”

“As we were very tired we just changed into our Night wear and just dozed off to sleep within few minutes we were all knocked out.”

“At 1:30 am I woke up because I had to drink water ad I grew thirsty. For some reason I looked over the other bed as there were two twin beds and I didn’t find my friend Saumil there and I was like maybe he had been to the bathroom so I dozed off again to sleep.”

“Early that morning my friend Saurabh woke me up aggressively and I woke up and what he said made my soul tremble he said SAUMIL IS DEAD!!! he was sobbing I was like WHAT!!!?? And I said How did it happen? Where is he? And he said he was found dead on the backside of the hotel like some animal had attacked and he had bite marks on his neck. He said he tried to wake me up since couple of minutes.”

“So I rushed and found my friend was there lying dead and claw marks all over his body and a bite on his neck.”

“The cops came and all the inspection was done it came to a conclusion that an animal had done this to him. But the question still lingers on my mind as to why did he go to the backside of the hotel.”

“Our trip was cut short and we returned back to home and we couldn’t even fathom what his family must have been through and we lost our childhood friend later that night I had weird dream regarding the deer. And in that dream I saw a deer standing on his two feet which was very strange and attacking my friend SAURABH and it warned that he is next and after that he would claim my life as they ran him over.”

“So I wake up with perspiration at 6:30 am and upon waking up I connected the dots and told everything to my mom and I also contacted SAURABH and told him everything and my mom said that we immediately need to see some priest as we were being haunted by the ghost.”

“So me and my friend SAURABH met at the priest location as I also called him to join we told our situation to the priest and he was like we are being followed by a demonic entity ‘who shall not be named’ on a public forum.

“We sat there and followed the ritual for 2 hours and after that the priest said that entity will not trouble you anymore. Our families we were relieved and us too but in the back of the mind we had lost a friend 💔 😔 this pain could never be replaced and we always will regret to ever go on a road trip.”

“Today after 22 years of this event I still miss him and we haven’t planned a single road trip since than, me and SAURABH we still meet and we always remember that night.”
