Spanish 202

If you took SPN 202 before, are taking it now, or want to in the future, what do you hope to "get out of it"? I think it should be focused on making people independent since most students won't take another Spanish class and not just academic Spanish, but I know some people care a lot about the "school side" of Spanish that take the classes. What do you really want to get out of that class?
