Spinal Tap-inspired music podcast: Too Much Effing Perspective

Hi fellow Spinal Tap fans. I'm Alex Hofmann -- new to the group and co-host of the just-launched podcast, Too Much Effing Perspective. A few careers ago, I was the US concert manager for Radiohead, PJ Harvey, BoDeans, and several other bands; my co-host was in a great Chicago band and is now a comedy writer in LA. We've both lived through our fair share of Spinal Tap Moments...and in the podcast we're swapping stories with other musicians and entertainers who have too like the Pixies' Joey Santiago and Dandy Warhols' Zia McCabe.

Listen for free on Apple Podcasts and on Spotify. It's also on Google Podcasts and elsewhere.

Here's how we describe the series:

<<<Every performer who's ever been on the road has at least one bizarro story that could have been pulled straight from the iconic music mockumentary, This is Spinal Tap. Co-hosts Allen Keller and Alex Hofmann delve deep into their guests’ harrowing, humbling, and hilarious Spinal Tap Moments, uncovering the universal truths along the way.>>>

Given Spinal Tap's notoriously challenging track record with drummers, we've just launched Too Much Effing Perspective with two of the best -- In Episode 1, we speak with Styx drummer Todd Sucherman who played several performances with Spinal Tap including The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. In Episode 2, we're joined by Matt Walker who has drummed around the world with Morrissey, Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage, Filter, and others. Both are funny, enlightening, genuinely enjoyable conversations.

Eager to hear what this community of Spinal Tap enthusiasts thinks about the series. If you like it, please Subscribe, Rate, Review, and Share. Thank you for checking it out.
