No Mother Should Lose Her Job After Losing Her Baby
Hey All, I'd appreciate your support. It's free and it only takes a few mins.
When I lost my son to stillbirth, I didn't just lose my baby—I also had to navigate childbirth, postpartum recovery, overwhelming grief, and the reality of returning to work.
A few days before my baby's funeral my job wanted to know when I would return to work. After feeling unsupported and pressured to give an answer. I quit. The lack of compassion and support broke me even more.
No parent should have to choose between healing and keeping their job.
Today, I'm asking for your help to change that.
I've started a petition calling on Texas lawmakers to create stronger workplace protections for parents who experience stillbirth, including extended job-protected leave, mental health support, and compassionate return-to-work policies.
This isn't about special treatment. It's about recognizing that stillbirth is both a medical event and a profound family loss.
Whether you've experienced pregnancy loss or not, live in Texas or not, your signature can help show that Texans believe families deserve compassion, dignity, and the time to heal.
PLEASE SIGN MY PETITION, share, and help us bring this issue to the people who can make a difference.
🩵🩷Together, we can turn heartbreak into hope—and help ensure no family has to face this journey alone.
