Armadillo scutes (for cruelty essence)

So i am trying to do some stuff with the occultism mod and now i need a brown chalk, but for that i need to get my hands on armadillo scutes. But i been trying to figure out how to obtain these but still has no clue, how do i get these scutes? Is there a way to get armadillos to spawn or is there some way that i have missed?
