Welcome to r/StubBook!

Hi everyone! I'm u/thearniec, one of the creators of StubBook and a founding moderator of this community.

Welcome! Whether you're here because you collect movie ticket stubs, love logging every film you watch, obsess over theater formats, write reviews, or just can't resist talking movies, you're in the right place.

StubBook is being built as a community-first place to log your moviegoing history. Think ticket stubs, theaters, ratings, reviews, lists, collections, and all the little details that make each trip to the movies memorable. Our goal is to create something built for movie fans, with the community helping shape where it goes.

What to Post

Anything related to movies and the moviegoing experience is fair game, including:

  • Your latest ticket stub or collection
  • Reviews and ratings
  • Theater experiences, both great and terrible
  • IMAX, Dolby Cinema, ScreenX, 4DX, 70mm, and other premium formats
  • Photos of theaters, memorabilia, or home displays
  • Feature requests and feedback for StubBook
  • Questions about the app
  • Movie discussions, recommendations, and lists

If it's something movie fans would enjoy talking about, chances are it belongs here.

Community Vibe

We want this to be a welcoming place for everyone, from casual moviegoers to people who can tell you which auditorium had the best laser projector in 2019.

Be respectful. Debate movies, not people. Different opinions are what make movie discussions fun.

Help Shape StubBook

StubBook is still growing, and many of the best ideas already came directly from future users. If there's a feature you've always wished movie logging apps had, tell us. We genuinely read the feedback and use it to guide development.

Get Started

  • Introduce yourself in the comments.
  • Tell us your favorite movie you've seen in a theater.
  • Show off your oldest or coolest ticket stub.
  • Or just say hello.

Thanks for joining us at the beginning. We can't wait to see what this community becomes.

Welcome to r/StubBook!
