doing btech in civil engineering at lpu ,what i realised beyond the syllabus

When i started my BTech in Civil Engineering, i honestly thought it would be all about theory and drawing stuff on paper. but over time, i realised its way more hands on , you need patience, problem solving skills and a real world mindset. From surveys to labs to field visits, every bit of it was a learning curve.

At LPU, we got solid practical exposure the labs were top notch, faculty actually guided us well and workshops didnt feel boring at all. It wasn’t just textbook learning, it actually made sense in the real world.

Now i cant look at a road or a building without thinking how it was made. that mindset shift? totally worth it.
