Why do CC complain about TS4 but still play it?

This is a genuine question, and not meant to start drama. I just don't understand why I often see content creators complaining about how much they don't like The Sims 4, or they throw shade at it by saying that TS2/TS3 did [X] better and TS4 could never. But then when I look at their videos, hoping that they put out TS2 or TS3 content, most of their videos are still TS4.

Maybe it's precisely because I'm a TS3 player that I get a little frustrated, because I'd rather see content about that one, but I just don't understand why someone would complain this much about one game and praise the other ones, and then just keep playing the one that they don't like. Is it just because TS4 gets in more views or something.
