[Lyla Grunt was trying to convince Olive to take Buzz out of the picture]

This is a short little Theory just something I thought about.

Lyla Grunt is the ex-wife of General Buzz Grunt and is deceased when you start the game. Her tombstone is on the property of Olive Specter and she died of electrocution.

Most of the Theories I see don't bring up,or just outright say they have no clue why she was at Olives house at all. well I think I figured it out. Lyla knew,like I'm sure most of Strangetown that Olive specter killed men, mostly her ex-husbands

Lyla had no money, nothing to fall back on if she divorced Buzz and left it all behind. She knew that someone as prideful as Buzz wouldn't let her Take her children maybe even see them again if she just left. So she packed up in the night and traveled to the Specter Lot to ask Olive for help in... taking him out of the picture so she could have the house,the money,and the kids.

Olive from what I can tell,is a weird sim and I'm sure doesn't like being told what to do. So I'm sure she took advantage of Lyla being alone in her home,and the fact that no one knew she was there,to kill her.

I honestly wish this made more sense, Maybe if I think on it harder than a day I could make a cohesive story. Anyway I hope you liked it 😋
