Why Do People Refuse to Question Their Jesus Story?
Faith is powerful. But it can also be armor. For many, the story of Jesus is not just belief — it’s identity, family, safety, purpose. To question it feels like unraveling the self.
So even when history shows contradictions, when texts conflict, when lived experience doesn’t align — the story remains untouchable. Admitting it might be wrong threatens the ground they stand on.
The paradox: truth does not fear questions. Only illusions demand protection from them.
An open mind doesn’t cling — it seeks. It lets the story be what it is, without needing it to be flawless. And in that space, something deeper than the story itself can finally be seen.
