steering damper on tiger 900?

I high-sided my 900 RP a while ago after tucking the front wheel in a sketchy situation on rough ground. I think of myself as a decent rider but obviously screwed up this time. It happened in an instant and felt to me like the steering geometry was relatively unforgiving. Has anyone tried adding a steering damper to their 900 to avoid twitchiness?
