Personal Message: ALL WORKER LIVES MATTER!

With this post I want to acknowledge that I may have been wrong, influenced by narratives that divide American workers—citizens and foreign workers alike. The real issue is a system that exploits ALL workers while enriching the top 1%. We must unite as Workers to fight for fair wages and stop exploitation of everyone regardless their citizenship.

While I support a temporary pause on most immigration to stabilize the labor market, I believe in preserving family caps by country are essential to foster a shared American identity. Additionally we might need to cap ethnic representation in businesses, to prevent “in-group” hiring and stop discrimination against non-Indians, or anyone else by any other race. As a first-generation immigrant, I also feel we must teach American values and culture to newcomers, so people like Vivek better understand American culture and values, and most importantly “unity” and “mutual respect” .
