Made an after work trip today- family with 2 little ones
We bought annual passes when they went back on sale last week, so we made an after work trip today since it was cloudy and mid-80s.
Fresh 3 year old and and 18-month old, seasoned theme parkers with the whole crew (WDW and USO). This park obviously isn't either of those, but this park costs 20% of what those parks cost for entry, so that should be obvious.
We got there about 3:30 and left just before 6:30. Had a really good time. Parking lot was maybe half full. Place has plenty of color. Kids enjoyed the younger play areas, which had plenty of shade.
Younger splash pad areas in the Minion land were a big hit with our kids. They enjoyed the Shrek ride, and it looks like when those plants grow it was be a pretty cool theme.
The staff definitely had plenty of confusion in both the rides and in the restaurants throughout the park. But that wasn't a big deal to us, its a new park and these people are young theme park workers. Without them, we can't have a park at all.
We are looking for to the continued development of the park as the plants age and they improve aspects based on usage and need.
