Giles or Xander

For those of you who own the Buffy set, and when you play as Buffy, do you tend to choose Giles or Xander?

It’s Giles all the way for me honestly. Though my last game, Merlin focused on him in the Yukon and Giles wasn’t alive for very long resulting in his cards all being boosters and hand fillers. Most of the time, I’m able to keep him out of the action and when need be, he can come in and use ANY cards. Where as I feel Xander is useful only in the action, using up ANY cards early if I don’t draw his cards and he’s not that much of a force like Patroclus, Wyglaf, The Jabberwock, Misty Knight, and The Huntsman can be.
