Hey all, I’m back with another Stasha Statistic!

**Competitive Domination**

This metric might be a bit foreign to some of you, so allow me to explain. The aim of this metric is to measure who the front runner is as the season progresses, i.e., at the end of each episode, based on the season so far, who is in the lead (as far as PPE goes). A queen can have the best track record of the season, but a very low domination score, if they rose out of the woodworks late in the season, for example.

How is it calculated? After each episode, average PPE is determined, and the queen with the highest PPE is the dominant queen for that episode, the front runner. So the front runner after episode 1 is based on performance in that challenge alone, front runner after episode 2 is based on the average of both of the first two challenges, and so on. Then, the number of episodes a queen comes up as the front runner is divided by the number of episodes of the season, and gives the queen’s % domination. I’ve given an example in the second slide.

To date, only once has a queen had 100% domination of a season: Kelege. On The Drag Temple S2, Kelege won the very first challenge, making them the front runner right off the bat. In the challenges that followed, their consistency meant there was never a point where a different queen was the front runner, it was always Kelege.

A queen can have a high domination score, but falter in the later challenges and not have the best track record. Domination is just one way of viewing of a season went, and if anything is representative of how it felt to be competing on that season.

Condragulations to all of these queens who dominated their seasons!
