Ultra sharp setting noise

Hi, does anyone else hear a loud high pitched noise when ultra sharp is activated?

Been watching movies on this thing, loving the colours and didn't realize that most of the time I've been using 1080p mode!

Flicked the switch on ultra sharp mode, and the pixel screen door effect disappeared but a fairly loud hum started.

Is this normal? I know the chip is moving to make this happen but it's a distracting extra noise.
