here are my thoughts

Mostly played Wehrmacht. It’s better than I expected. That said, it's got some issues that need to be addressed before launch. Wanted to share my thoughts and see if anyone else here ran into the same issues.

The pros:

* Visuals: It's UE5 and it shows. Models and environments look good.

* No base building: I know this is divisive here, but cutting the base building actually works for this format. Matches are tight (~30 mins) and it cuts the repetitive buildup slop. You jump straight into the micro/tactical layer.

* Deckbuilding: personally speaking it's fun. The unit pool is small right now, but it's a good start

the cons:

* Lack of physics: Coming from CoH, the physics feel a bit floaty.

* Damage: Feels inconsistent. I was pounding an AT gun crew with Panther from decent range and it felt like I was shooting peas. The splash damage was basically non-existent.

* Infantry Death Animations: Okay I have to laugh at this one. When infantry dies, it looks like a cartoon from the 90s, goofy, scripted "uhoh I'm dead" flop. It's hilariously immersion breaker.

* Deck limitations: 8 is far from enough.

The main issue: game pacing & economy: This is what I think hurts the game most right now. The match pacing vs. resource gain is off. I played multiple 4v4 matches and only got one chance for a heavy tank. The Victory Points (400 default) drain way too fast. By the time I have the resources for lategame units, the game is over.

Suggestions for the Devs:

  1. Fix the VP ticker: Either increase the default VP to 600 or slow the drain rate. Let us play the late game

  2. AI needs a brain: The bots are so stu\[id.They need to be clever

Verdict: Current state is a 75/100. The potential is def there. But please, fix the optimization and let me drive my Tiger before the game ends.
