What if Walmart and large employers were billed for the cost of employees on food stamps/medicare.

Walmart and other large employees, have a very high number of employees receiving food stamps/medicare.

As it stands now, the general taxpayer is paying those coats and is indirectly subsidizing Walmart for paying low wages.

If Walmart won't pay to keep their employees off welfare. Why don't the taxpayers just charge Walmart for those costs? Total up the costs of welfare for Walmarts employees, and send them the bill as a tax.

It seems that Walmart would still be profitable, and it would reduce the tax burden on everyone else.
