A Question on how life magic could effect a freshly dead undead night elf

I will not go into detail on how he was resurrected, only that it was through necromancy.

To preface, my undead night elf, died just tonight in an rp event, I had his soul extracted via life magic by his druid niece, (I don't know if that's plausible, but it happened. Its still fresh, so it can be changed), and his body was also taken by the same druidess.

My question is can he be revived by the life magic she and her other druids use, to possibly reverse the necromantic magic on his corpse and use the life magic to not revive him fully or reverse the undead-ness, but keep him undead but make him more lively since before, his body was very undead looking, very dark pale, pitch black eyes and stitching and patches of decay around his body.

I have yet to write out what happens with him but I just wanna ask this before I start writing so I'm not doing something stupid or strange with my character.
