New to the universe

Stumbled upon one of their channels and just went down a pipeline of all their videos within the past two weeks but have 0 context at the same time. Got confused at first because the group of friends have similar contents and and I was jumping back and forth trying to figure out who was who. Basically what is the history here, I really like them and just want to know more.
