How do I connect and monitor a Zigbee compatible power meter?

Quick backstory: I have a solar power meter (Locus LGate 120) that was installed with my system, but the installing company (Sungevity) went bankrupt and no longer provides monitoring.

I am reading from the meter literature that it can communicate in RJ-485 or Zigbee, with cellular or ethernet connections. If I want to attempt my own monitoring with Zigbee, what hardware would I need to set it up? I have zero experience with Zigbee, but I do have an Arduino if that could be of any use.
