the Florida CGC license took 7 months start to finish
Over the past two years, I’ve helped some of our employees obtain their CGC certification, and what always surprises people is how long the process takes.
The exam preparation phase is what requires the most attention and takes a little longer. It’s important to read the books and get familiar with navigating the material before the test. B&F is where most people struggle.
Since we have a company and some employees decide to get their license, we always talk directly with LicenseFix School, they have some really helpful strategies. What really takes time is getting the experience statements signed by someone who can legitimately verify this. If your employee worked informally or for a company that went out of business... things get complicated quickly. The credit score requirement can also take time, especially for those who were self employed.
All in all, the fastest process for one of our employees took about 7 months. I don’t know anyone who’s done it faster… is there a way? Especially a simple way to handle the work experience documentation?
