UCD vs UofSC

Hi! I’m trying decide between UCD’s DEM 6-yr program and UofSC’s honors college (biochem major on pre-med track) and I’d rlly appreciate some advice! The cost is roughly the same and I think I would enjoy both atmospheres, but my biggest concern is residency placement back in the states. Has anyone here completed the UCD program and matched into residencies in the states? How difficult was it especially if you were choosing a competitive specialty? For UofSC, it has a big focus on research, internships, study abroad, and volunteering. Does UCD offer all of these opportunities as well? Also, is there much support for the students who are applying to residencies in the US? I’m rlly torn right now because saving two years seems like a win but I don’t want to limit myself of not matching into a competitive specialty. Any insight would mean a lot, thank you!
