changing tickets

Hi big dub people! so i bought two tickets for hilltop this year for me and my now ex bf. i bought the tickets together and he ended up letting me have is ticket when we broke up. So now im using his ticket to take my friend. When i went online to see if i had to switch the tickets name it said that it’s not possible to change the name on one ticket since they are together. Will this cause any problem if my friend shows her ticket and it says my exs name?
