Invincible review

Invincible is the best animated superhero show currently running. Fight me.
Forget the traditional "good guys always win" tropes. Invincible takes the superhero genre and flips it on its head with brutal violence, high stakes, and genuinely shocking plot twists that happen early and often.
The Verdict:
The Good: Exceptional voice acting (J.K. Simmons is terrifying), a compelling coming-of-age story for Mark, and action sequences that are visceral and unforgiving.
The Bad: The animation quality can be hit-or-miss—it’s solid during big fights but looks stiff during "talking" scenes. Some subplots feel like filler compared to the main conflict.
Final Take: This is basically "American Shonen Anime." It’s a character-driven family drama masquerading as an intergalactic beatdown. Don’t sleep on this one.
