I’ve been genuinely surprised how many times this u/componentry feature has been requested by triathletes running training and race wheels, cyclist running two waxed chains and the gravel riders changing out cassettes and tires.

Bike Profiles allows you to interchange components on the same bike, set defaults and continue to auto-match your bike to a ride.

Create named setups for a single bike — "Chain A", "Race Wheels", "Training Build" — whatever fits your setup. Assign components to a profile.

A profiled component only accumulates wear when that profile is active on an activity.

Components with no profile still work exactly as before — wear from every ride, no changes.

If you don't have interchangeable parts, nothing changes. Zero setup required. Power users get the control they needed.

You can set a default profile per bike, so every new activity auto-assigns it. No manual selection unless you swap setups.
