Is presale $% off such a good idea?

1st: I bought a discounted unit. I get the intent. The company sends first units which most probably encounter some problems. For the troubles it gives very significang discounts plus free goodies. Here is the problem though. I noticed that folks who received these heavily discounted printers are the worst customers ever. They keep pestering the company for every minor issue! And spread a lot of personal hate about the company. Just look through these subs. 75% of badmouthing and bitching comes from a small bunch of users who keep pooping out dozens of bitching messages about the same minor issue like mantra. Just charge 100% from start like other companies do. Those who are really interested in the printer rather than a good deal will buy it anyway and you will keep away random treasure seekers.
