Help me choose the best software career path
Hi everyone,
I'm planning to pursue a BTech and I'm trying to choose a software career that fits my interests and long-term goals.
Here's a little about me:
- I enjoy programming and building software.
- I know basic C# console programming and basic C++ console programming.
- I like seeing the results of my code rather than doing purely theoretical work.
- I prefer a career that isn't heavily focused on advanced mathematics.
- My goals are a good salary, good work-life balance, opportunities to work abroad, and the ability to start my own software company in the future.
- My favorite fields are ASP.NET development and game development, although I see game development more as a hobby unless it's the right fit.
I'm mainly considering:
- Java Backend Development
- ASP.NET Development
- Flutter Development
- Game Development (Programming)
- Or any other software career you think would suit me better.
Based on my interests and goals, which path would you recommend, and why?
Thank you!
