Connection to qbittorrent works, auto-download does not.

I am running 1.1.5 standalone of DTV and qBittorrent (also latest version) on Windows 10.

I successfully connected to the torrent client. DTV "sees" when a torrent has finished downloading for example.

But DTV cannot initiate downloads. It tells me that it has started the download, but it does not actually happen.

I re-installed DTV, qbittorrent, tried different torrent clients (utorrent) but nothing changes.

If I click on "find a torrent" and then on the magnet icon, nothing changes. I need to click on the (i) and then to it manually.

any idea how to debug this?
