Practical points from our litigation experience at ElpeeCo
Adding practical points from our litigation experience at ElpeeCo:
On Legal Notice: Always send via RPAD (Registered Post with Acknowledgement Due). Keep the postal receipt and returned acknowledgement slip — these are crucial evidence the company was notified and failed to respond.
On compensation: Don't just claim the refund. Specifically mention mental agony, loss of time, harassment, and interest on the amount in your complaint. Forums routinely award these — but only if you claim them explicitly.
On e-commerce: Under the 2019 Act, both the platform (e.g. Amazon/Flipkart) and the seller can be made parties. Name both — this creates maximum pressure for a quick settlement.
For complex cases — insurance rejection, builder fraud above ₹50L, or hospital negligence — feel free to reach out to our team.
