Multiple solo cabins?

Spouse and I are looking at a voyage next summer. The cruise is offering solo cabins at the same per person price as double occupancy. Has anyone booked two singles to have an extra space to hang out on a long trip? Does Explora allow this?

Sometimes one of us snores a bit. Might be nice to have a second cabin.
