A positive experience

discussion

I recently did my DTS and had a positive experience, it hurts me to see how many other people had bad experiences but reading them they really don't apply to the base i was at. We were openly asked TO question our leaders (respectfully) & ask why the rules were the way they were. We had lecturers disagree with each other on some details and not forced to agree with either. e even had someone from our group regularly get in discussion with our lecturers on certain doctrine (she was Lutheran) and this was not only allowed but encouraged and aided when she struggled with explaining certain points etc.

I know this is not the experience everywhere but i just want to let people looking around know not every location is cultish (it is bad there are any! Don't get me wrong)

Secondly i plan on going back to staff, what are some things you wish staff did or knew during your dts that i could learn from ? (Aside from the obvious don't be abusive part)
