Can vision problems really cause headaches?

Super long story short I've had chronic tension headaches almost daily for 3 years now. Been through the whole neurologist/ent/emergency room/lumbar puncture/tmj/medication ringer, even had a brain ct, and could not get any answers or help anywhere because everything always comes up fine. I finally got my eyes checked and I have pretty bad convergence insufficiency and binocular vision dysfunction. All my symptoms align. I was diagnosed 3 months ago and haven't received treatment yet but hoping to start vision therapy. My question basically is can your eyes really cause tension type headaches?
