Help me to finally switch to a Fairphone!

Hello everybody! I'm thinking of switching to FP5 within the end of the year, but:

My phone is a precious tool I use in my everyday job. I travel a lot around the world, and often I can't recharge easily for hours, so I learned to give a shot to the battery any time I can, as when I'm at the laptop, driving, I'm on a flight or an airport. I think I could stand with a 4.2-ah battery instead of the 5-ah my Redmi Note Pro has.

But what it's really scaring me is the chance to get cut off from communications. That would be a real issue, as I often rely on local sim cards (I would love to use the local e-sims, once got the FP or any handset newer than mine).

So, if any of you guys have some experience using the Fairphone out of Europe, not only in the USA, that I have already read it should work somewhat, I would appreciate it if you shared it with me.
