How did you react to this scene as a kid?

This creative sequence is without a doubt the most fascinating and extraordinary part of the entire film as the exploration of Zarkov's mind and the removal of his memories end up taking him back to the hour he was born, back when he was still floating around inside his mother's womb as her baby boy and she was going into labor with him and bringing him into the world. The machine turns back the clock on Zarkov's mind and rewinds him mentally into an infant. This whole thing takes him on an introspective journey, a life changing experience back to the most primitive recesses of his brain's developmental intelligence and the origins of his very being, it's a fantastic experiment.
