Still limping 4 months after spinal fusion and leg fractures – is it normal?

🇮🇷 (Farsi -

🇬🇧 (English)

Hi everyone 🌸
I’m a 35-year-old woman. I had a serious car accident 4 months ago. One of my lumbar vertebrae was fractured and I had spinal fusion surgery. I also had metal implants in both legs (right thigh, and left thigh, shin, and ankle).

Now I can walk, but I still limp – especially after walking a lot or at night. I also feel some pain in my legs and sometimes in my back.

I’m really worried.
– Will the limping go away with time?
– Is it okay to live long-term with spinal and leg implants?
– Has anyone had a similar experience?

Thanks for reading 🙏🌷
