Director of the Jewish Chaplaincy program at Gratz College at the National Coalition Conference on Antisemitism and Hate on July 13 - 14
Alissa Thomas-Newborn, BCC, Director of the Jewish Chaplaincy program at Gratz College, spent several days with members of the American Muslim & Multifaith Women's Empowerment Council (AMMWEC) at the National Coalition Conference on Antisemitism and Hate on July 13 - 14.
Rabbanit Thomas-Newborn was the moderator of a panel about religious leaders fighting antisemitism and hate. The panelists included Abedalelah Almaala, Sheikh Musa, Yuval David, Nrip Singh and Jayne Zirkle.
It was inspirational spending time with faith leaders, policymakers, and advocates wholly committed to breaking barriers and confronting antisemitism through dialogue, coalition-building, and interfaith solidarity.
