$6,000 TikTok Ad Credit Promo Code
Spent way too long figuring this out so hopefully this saves someone else the headache.
TikTok has a matched-spend credit program for new advertisers that's been running through 2026. Basically: spend real money on ads in your first 30 days, TikTok gives you the same amount back in credit. Up to $6,000 USD.
Sounds simple. The catch is how you sign up matters, and there are a few ways to accidentally disqualify yourself before you've spent a single dollar.

How the Offer Actually Works
It's not a promo code situation. There's no code to enter. The offer attaches to your account automatically when you register through an eligible link — but only if the promotional banner is still visible when you create your account. If you just go to ads.tiktok.com directly and sign up, you may not get it.
The tiers for 2026:
- Spend $200 → Get $200 back
- Spend $500 → Get $500 back
- Spend $1,000 → Get $1,000 back
- Spend $4,000 → Get $4,000 back
- Spend $6,000 → Get $6,000 back
You don't lock in a tier ahead of time. Your total eligible spend at the end of the 30-day window determines what you get. Credits for tiers up to $4,000 land after Day 31. The $6,000 tier credits immediately once you cross the threshold.
The Mistakes That Cost People Their Credits
1. Signing up without going through a partner link. The offer won't be attached to your account. You'll spend real money and get nothing back.
2. Not clicking "Claim" before spending. In some regions the offer isn't automatic — you have to manually activate it inside Ads Manager first. If you launch a campaign before doing this, that spend may not count toward the qualifying window.
3. Underfunding your account. TikTok pauses delivery when your balance can't cover the next bid. If you're targeting the $500 tier, load $550+. A campaign that stops running partway through still counts as spend — you just get less reach for it.
4. Trying to use credits toward the next tier. You can't. Credits earned from the offer can't be used to qualify for a higher tier. Only out-of-pocket spend counts.
5. Account policy violations. If your account gets flagged during the 30-day window, you forfeit the credits. Make sure your creative and targeting comply with TikTok's ad policies before you launch.

Is the Platform Worth Testing Right Now?
That's a fair question to ask before committing budget. A few things that changed my mind:
TikTok's ad platform has matured a lot. It's not just awareness campaigns anymore — conversion tracking, lead gen, app installs, Smart+ AI optimization. It runs more like Meta Ads than it did two years ago.
The audience reach argument is real: roughly 1 in 4 TikTok users aren't reachable on Facebook or Instagram at all. If your Meta campaigns have started plateauing, there's genuine incremental reach here.
And for testing specifically, the credit offer changes the math. If you're spending $500 to figure out whether TikTok works for your product, getting that $500 back to reinvest makes the test basically free.

Anyone else gone through this recently? Curious what tiers people are targeting and what's working creatively.
