Had AI rank wasted spend across an account instead of just flagging it, and the ranking mattered more than the flagging
Most of the wasted spend advice I've gotten from a model in the past has been a flat list, this keyword is wasting money, this placement is wasting money, no sense of which one actually matters. Tried a different prompt this time, asked it to rank the findings by dollar impact instead of just listing them in whatever order it found them.
Instead of working through a list of ten issues in no particular order, I fixed the top three and moved on, since those three accounted for most of the actual waste. The other seven were technically real but small enough that fixing them wasn't worth the time that week.
Feels obvious in hindsight but I hadn't been asking for it explicitly before, just accepting whatever order the findings came back in. Anyone else changed how they prompt for this kind of audit and found something that made the output more actionable rather than just more thorough.
