Ihss application

I applied for Ihss on February 21, 2025, first time I had called was on March 24, 2025 at 1:44,pm I did not get an answer so I called again at 1:45, the front desk gave me the social worker’s phone number and then I had spoke to the social worker that’s assigned to my case, at 1:46 PM to see where am I at with my case she then told me that she hasn’t got to my case yet and it’ll be sometime in may or June, I had called again on May 30th, I called a few times and then I finally got through, she then told me that she still hasn’t got to my case, and it will be sometime June or July, I had called back on June 25th 2025, then she had told me she still hasn’t got to my case it’ll be sometime in July or August, I had called again on July 2, 2025, then she had told me my case is still not been processed it’ll be sometime in August or September, I then had called on August 8, to see where I’m at exactly again with my application, she then told me that she doesn’t know when she’s gonna get to my case and she’s just not sure at that point, because she will be move-in departments so then I had called back to the front desk to speak to a supervisor I called the supervisor on the same date that I had called to her so August 8 2025, I left him voicemails to contact me back then I had spoke to the supervisor on 8/11/2025, I had told him that my caseworker said she’s gonna be moving department and she doesn’t know when she’s gonna get to my case and I wanted to switch social workers before she’s unable to do my case he then had told me that there’s a delay of seven month mark and they can’t go anything past seven months, basically explaining that my application would be processing in September, to schedule a home assessment and and that my social worker doesn’t have a date that she would be moving departments yet so she still has my case and I don’t need to switch social workers then he said he was gonna have my worker give me a call, to let me know where exactly am I at, she then called me the same day on August 11 I missed her call so she left me a voicemail stayed in that in the beginning of September she would get to my case and give me a call to schedule the home assessment if she still had my case by then she was switching departments. She just didn’t have the exact date on when she’ll be leaving… then I had called on September 8 because I did not get a phone call in the beginning of the month to schedule a home assessment, I left her a voicemail if she can call me back before the weekend hits it was on Friday September 5, she had called me the following Monday on 8 September, she had told me that she’s unable to do my case because she is now moving departments. She is still my social worker until the 22nd., but she won’t be able to schedule my assessment due to her moving departments so she’s closing out all her cases so someone to take over a new social worker,.. then I had called the supervisor left him two voicemails explaining the situation for him to return my call, he did not return my call, but I spoke to him 24 hours later I had called again, he answered and told me that he listened to my voicemails and then he was explaining on how she’s moving departments and she is not able to do my application no longer, and then he said that they’re no longer a seven month delay now they are a nine month delay, and he apologies for the inconvenience and then he says every different county is also backload, with applications and then I had told him I waited seven months to do a home assessment, and I was supposed to be scheduled in the beginning of September, that he apologizes and she is organizing all her remaining cases so someone else can take over. He had told me as soon as she does that he’s able to assign new caseworkers., and he also have 20 more cases left out of January he also said that it seems a lot, but it’s actually not and they are going to go through that real quick, then he goes on telling me he has people calling from July cases. which I do not know why was he telling me that that has nothing to do with me since I applied in February, so he said basically to call back on September 23 to see if he assigned me to a new caseworker, said it could be a week after 22nd, so he just wants me to give him a call on 23rd to see if anything changed, what should I do, stanislaus county
