[M4M] 18+ || Half-Orc Specialist || Returning Writer
Back after a long hiatus and shaking off the rust. My replies are around 3 paragraphs right now, but I'm improving daily. Looking for patient partners who don't mind a little dust.
I play half-orcs. Exclusively. Here's who I've got:
---
Rook – 27, Lead Singer of Cracked Tusk
Rook is the kind of person who makes strangers feel like old friends within minutes. Despite his imposing frame and small tusks, he's remarkably gentle, quick to smile, genuine to a fault, and more comfortable with honest conversations than small talk. Years of feeling like he never truly belonged have left him with a quiet melancholy that never fully fades, but he channels it all into his music. On stage he's electric, larger than life. Off stage, he's the guy who remembers your name, helps carry equipment, and wears his heart on his sleeve. Once he falls for someone, he's deeply devoted, writing songs instead of love letters, remembering tiny details, and finding joy in simple intimacy. He's honest, loyal, and falls hard, but he also holds onto emotional pain for years and struggles to ask for help.
---
Kualu – 40, Drummer of Cracked Tusk, Retired Police Officer
Kualu is the type of man people instinctively trust. He speaks little, but when he does, his words carry weight. Years as a cop taught him that listening is often more important than talking, and he has a remarkable ability to remain calm in the middle of chaos. He has a dry sense of humor that catches people off guard; his jokes are delivered with such a serious expression that it takes a few seconds to realize he's teasing. Despite his towering 6'8" frame, he's exceptionally gentle. He's the first to comfort a crying child, the one everyone calls for advice, and the friend who quietly checks if everyone made it home safely. Fatherhood transformed him; his four-year-old daughter Kiara is the center of his world, and nearly every decision he makes is guided by whether it would make her proud. Dependable, emotionally mature, and fiercely protective, but struggles to relax and tends to shoulder burdens alone.
---
Seth – 30, Crown Prince and Apprentice Pictomancer
Seth is a man who sees beauty where others see the ordinary. Every sunrise is a painting waiting to happen, every battlefield a canvas, and every person a story worth illustrating. He's naturally talkative and can strike up a conversation with nearly anyone, with an infectious enthusiasm that makes people feel at ease. Unlike many royals, he has little interest in status or formal etiquette; he'd rather spend an afternoon sketching wildlife than attending political banquets. He's patient, playful, and hopelessly romantic, expressing affection through art rather than words. But beneath the carefree exterior, he quietly struggles with the weight of expectation, constantly questioning whether he'll ever become the ruler his kingdom deserves. He fears being remembered as "the prince who preferred painting to politics."
---
Oboro – 30, Wandering Exorcist and Apprentice Onmyoji
Oboro is a gentle soul whose kindness is as natural as breathing. He speaks softly, listens far more than he talks, and has an uncanny ability to make others feel heard. Whether comforting a grieving family or helping a frightened child, he approaches everyone with patience and compassion. Unlike many half-orcs who feel pressured to prove their strength through combat, Oboro believes true strength lies in protecting others without hatred. Violence is always his last resort, and even when forced to fight, he prays for those standing against him. He expresses affection through quiet acts of service, preparing tea after a difficult day, mending someone's clothes, or silently standing beside them when words aren't enough. Though content with his quiet life, he sometimes worries that his gentle nature is holding him back from becoming the powerful sorcerer he dreams of being.
---
Alrun – 32, Traveling Dancer and Raksha Flow Practitioner
Alrun lives as though every moment deserves to be beautiful. He's effortlessly charming, always greeting others with a playful smile and a compliment that feels genuine rather than rehearsed. His flirtatious nature is simply another form of self-expression; he enjoys making people blush and exchanging witty banter, yet beneath the teasing lies an incredibly respectful man who knows the difference between inviting someone's attention and demanding it. Despite his profession, he possesses a remarkably gentle heart, disliking unnecessary violence and avoiding taking lives whenever another option exists. Though he appears carefree, Alrun carries loneliness beneath his smile. His training required years of isolation and sacrifice, and once the music ends and the crowd fades, the silence often reminds him how few people truly know the man behind the performance. When he loves, he loves deeply, expressing affection through touch, shared dances beneath moonlight, and handmade jewelry.

What I'm Looking For:
Dynamics
I'm primarily looking for MxM romantic pairings. Slow-burn is my absolute favorite; I love watching tension build, walls come down, and trust form over time. Enemies-to-lovers, friends-to-lovers, reluctant allies, forbidden romance, mutual pining; I'm here for all of it. Platonic-to-romantic is my sweet spot, but I'm open to jumping straight into established dynamics if the chemistry is right. I enjoy emotional vulnerability, characters who challenge each other, and relationships that feel earned.
Age and Maturity
18+ only. I strongly prefer partners 25 and older; I find we tend to match better in terms of writing style, emotional complexity, and communication. I'm comfortable with mature themes, darker tones, trauma recovery, and complex emotional stakes. Smut is welcome but never required; I'm here for the story and the connection first. If smut happens, I prefer it to feel organic and character-driven rather than forced.
Settings
I lean toward original settings with room for worldbuilding. Modern, urban fantasy, magical realism, and slice-of-life with supernatural elements are all great. I'm also open to post-apocalyptic, historical, or anything with depth. Not really into strict fandom settings, but if your pitch is strong and character-focused, I'll hear you out.
Storytelling Style
I'm looking for a collaborative partner, not a passive one. I don't expect you to carry the plot alone, and I won't leave you hanging. I want someone who brings ideas to the table, asks questions, throws in unexpected twists, and gets excited about where the story is heading. I love in-character banter, internal conflict, and characters who feel like real people making messy, complicated choices. Atmosphere, emotional depth, and character voice matter to me more than rapid plot progression.
Communication
I value clear, honest communication outside of the story. If something isn't working, tell me. If you have an idea, share it. If life gets busy, just give me a heads-up; I'll extend you the same courtesy. I'm ghost-friendly but prefer a quick "hey, I need a break" over disappearing entirely. I'm open to OOC chat, brainstorming, and sharing music or playlists if we click.
What I Don't Want
· One-liners or script-style replies.
· Partners who expect me to do all the heavy lifting.
· Godmodding or controlling my character.
· Rushed romance without emotional buildup.
· Overly dark or grim stories without moments of light and hope to balance them.

About Me:
I write in third person, past tense. My replies are narrative-driven with a focus on internal thought, sensory detail, and character interaction. I'm currently at about 3 paragraphs per response, but I'm pushing to improve with every post. I'm patient, laid-back, and here to have fun while writing something meaningful.
If any of this resonates with you, shoot me a message. Tell me a bit about yourself, your writing style, any characters you have in mind, and any plot ideas you've been kicking around. Even if you don't have a full story yet, we can brainstorm something from scratch.
Let's write something good.
