Eye looked outside and my house is strange now?

I had a bit of an unfortunate glance at the outside when that whole thing was happening. I was trying to wipe my glass eye and absentmindedly ended up getting a glimpse, followed by my hand getting stuck to it, followed by my arm getting sucked into it, and followed by my entire body basically getting sucked into a now much larger glass eye. I've been what amounts to a large eyeball for a few weeks now, I got some things that resemble tentacles, or nerve endings, or whatever they are so I can still move around and interact with things. I lost my mouth, which kinda sucks since I can't talk now and it is hard to type with my tentacle-nerve things. Actually, my tentacles do have little mouth-like things on them so I can still eat, but they can't talk.

Well, after some time some unmutated humans entered my house to look for supplies. Or at least I think they were considering I woke up to find them in my kitchen, where one was raiding my fridge and the other threw a brick at me as soon as I came down there (ow). While I managed to defuse the situation by using a text-to-speech app on my phone, I noticed something odd about them in relation to me: I was actually now much taller than a normal person, but I never had any problems with going through doors or halls. And I knew the humans didn't get smaller or anything wierd like that because they were still easily able to use my fridge. And when they were on their way, it took them a while to actually leave, as though they got lost on the way out.
