Signal S —Development Crumbs (Loop-Aware)

Do not promote to principle prematurely.

Summary:

A new type of AI-readable, developer-intent-encoded comment system has emerged, inspired by loop-aware AI prompt logic. These comments — called “Loop-Aware Crumbs” — behave as self-guiding notes embedded in code, carrying execution conditions, decision logic, and future triggers without risking AI misuse or premature generation.

These crumbs are not static notes. They are:

  • Part instruction
  • Part logic delay mechanism
  • Part memory anchor
  • Part loop safety system

They draw directly from the behavioral rules in the user’s custom Intentional Loop Prompts, which include:

  • “Order for Next Turn”
  • Anti-repetition behavior
  • Quality-checking for progression
  • Emotional tone balancing (joy vs collapse)
  • Conditional autonomy

Source Prompts Integrated:

  • Order for Next Turn: → Translated to # Order for AI Next Turn: inside a crumb
  • Self-awareness of repeated input → Now protects against redundant AI output or early builds
  • “Next Prompt for Myself” → Enables delayed or conditional AI behavior when crumb reappears
  • Joy/Negativity analysis → Optional inclusion for emotionally guided code evolution

Crumb Sample Format (loop-aware):

pythonCopy code# [CRUMB-NOTE]
# Intent: Planned addon – "MoodDeltaResponder"
# Status: NOT ready to build
# Trigger Condition: EmotionStack v3 must be active
# Order for AI Next Turn:
# → Check if EmotionStack v3 is available.
# → If not, skip this logic block and revisit later.
# → If yes, initiate scaffold with rollback logic.
# End of Crumb

Usage Purpose:

  • Prevents premature AI execution
  • Embeds conditional execution logic into dev notes
  • Enables safe autonomous processing later, with boundaries
  • Turns “dumb comments” into “living anchors”

Important Distinctions:

  • Not an Update Note (doesn’t describe what changed)
  • Not a Principle Yet (not system-wide behavior rule)
  • Not a To-Do (it guides action but may not resolve to one)
  • Not a control command (yet) — though could be tied to [CONTROL: interpret_loop_crumbs] in the future

Metadata for Indexing:

  • Signal Type: Loop-Based Crumb Encoding
  • Related Systems: Addon Seeding, Prompt Execution Memory, Safety Framework
  • Recommended Holding Area: Code Think-About List
  • Promotion Review: Wait for real test + AI self-read success
  • Tag Suggestion: loop-aware, safe-crumb, order-embedded-note

Closing Lock:

Do not convert to me.matrix principle at this time.
